- There is no repair panel to fix the hole in the tire boot so we're going
to fabricate one.

I took a large paper to make
a template and folded around the botom of the boot where the damage was present.I took a black marker and drew 2 lines on
the crease.
After marking all the creases
,cut them out and use the pattern to cut the sheet metal.
Form the metal around the boot and C
clamp the corners.If you did a good job with the template you can close the gaps and finish welding the bottom.Notice
how tight the inside fits the contour.I will weld the inside and finish with fiberglass body filler.
- The edges were fethered and is now ready for primer.The inside looks the same.The
1-3/4 hole was drilled in the bottom for the drain and plug.
